Salvaged Jewelry by Sophia Forero

Salvaged Jewelry by Sophia Forero

Jewelry designer Sophia Forero was born in Boston and spend time in the US Peace Corps, teaching English to Hungarian schoolchildren, before launching her jewelry line. Most of her work is more delicate and uses beads and precious stones, but the aluminum and leather cuffs really made us fall in love.

The aluminum is recycled, and so is the leather, from old hockey bags, shoes or belts. The aluminum is embellished with stamping, which makes each piece unique.

Good stuff, and the perfect accessory for any badass girl (or guy) with a conscience. Find a store that carries Sophia Forero, or visit the online shop.
