Some things just go together (sugar and spice, naughty and nice, peas and pods, Brad and Angelina). Case in point, Heather Heron and Environment Furniture. Their first collaboration was a huge success, and now they’re at it again. All tbags in the collection are made from vintage army fabric, the same kind Environment uses for some of their furniture. The ruggedness of the fabric lends these pieces instant character, one that will only grow more beautiful with age.
Heather Heron is based in California and has developed a dedicated following for her consciously luxurious take on sustainable design. About the inspiration for her latest collection for Environment, Heron says:
“To take one simple thing of beauty that already exists on the planet and design a collection from its roots. All five pieces in the collection are designed and built from the one style of vintage army bag. Made locally in California by skilled artisans in our incredible new factory.”
The Environment by Heather Heron collection has been featured in Vogue, ELLE and Lucky and spotted on the arms of celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Alanis Morissette, Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell.
The new collection will be arriving shortly at Environment Showrooms and online, and will also be available at select specialty boutiques worldwide, including L’ Eclaireur in Paris, Tomorrowland in Japan, Sugar in Italy, and Roseark in Los Angeles. Prices range from $65 to $210.
