Having skin that is both sensitive and prone to breakouts, I’ve struggled to find products that work for me. Knowing that the skin absorbs over 60% of what we put on it, I also don’t want to use anything that is filled with mystery-ingredients. Products from Juice Beauty are made with a 100% Certified Organic juice base — made from over 30 different juices! — and carry the USDA Certified Organic seal.
Juice Beauty’s soap-free Cleansing Milk feels luxurious and rich without being oily at all. It makes my face feel very refreshed and does a good job of removing makeup as well. Ingredients include antioxidant-rich raspberry and white grape juices, soothing aloe vera, nutrient-rich grapeseed oil, calendula flower, chamomilla flower, linden leaf and vitamins.
The Stem Cellular Repair Moisturizer is “a blend of fruit stem cells deeply penetrates the skin to repair DNA damage and encourage new cell growth to aggressively firm and eliminate wrinkles.”I always find it hard to validate such claims, but I do know that the moisturizer feels great on my skin and leaved it hydrated without feeling greasy. Antioxidant-rich fruit juices, fat-soluble Vitamin C and plant oils hydrate and improve elasticity of the skin, and I could definitely something like that happening. It also comes in a pretty cool package that I hadn’t seen before, you push down on one side of the top and cream is dispensed through a small hole. The only downside of that would be that it’s impossible to get those last drops of cream out of there (I’m one of those people who cut tubes open to get the last bit of toothpaste out).
Juice Beauty’s signature product, for which was just awarded its’ first patent, is their unique Green Apple Peel. I tried the full-strength version, which still feels very gentle and does not sting at all. In the past I always felt that skin products had to hurt or sting to work, but how wrong was I? Juice Beauty’s Green Apple Peel is potent alpha and beta hydroxy acid complex with beneficial ingredients like certified organic apple, lemon, grape, raw cane sugar and willow bark. It’s easy to apply and wash off and smells good too boot. After using it, my skin definitely feels cleaner, smoother and more radiant.
Juice Beauty’s mission is to bring authentically organic, high efficacy and pleasurable beauty solutions to people worldwide. The company strives to fulfill this mission by not only using natural, organic, healthy ingredients but also by supporting organic farming, solar manufacturing, and the recycled paper industry (the cartons are all made from recycled fibers).
What I love most about Juice Beauty though is their organic juice base. I drink juice every morning, so it makes total sense to me to put something made from juice on my skin too! Another bonus is that the company goes to great lengths to clinically validate the claims they make, and they never test on animals.
